Live streaming latency is the delay between the camera of the model capturing an event and such event being displayed on your screen. Luckily, you can enable a super low delay to enjoy a nearly real-time streaming. This is where the Low Latency comes into play: you will find this option in your broadcasting window – you will identify it by the lightning icon, or you can also access it from the settings menu. When enabled, Low Latency mode reduces the delay to 0.5 seconds, delivering a lightening-fast stream.
Sometimes though, there is a tradeoff between latency and quality, so with lower latency you may experience more playback buffering. In such cases, turn the low latency back off.
