Stream Tags are custom keywords you can add before going live to describe your show. Use tags to highlight your show's vibe or theme. Adding relevant tags makes it easier for viewers who are looking for specific content to find your stream. The more accurately your tags describe your show, the better your chances of reaching the right audience.

How to add Stream Tags

  1. Get ready for your stream and click Start Show
  2. In the pop-up window, enter your Stream Tags in the dedicated field
  3. Create your own custom tag or select an existing tag from the suggestions
  4. Click Go Live

You can remove or edit your tags before starting your broadcast.

Tag rules

When creating a custom Stream Tag, make sure it meets the following requirements: it can be up to 25 characters long and may contain only letters, numbers, and spaces. Special characters and emojis are not allowed.

You can add up to 7 tags per stream. Note that tags must not contain prohibited words or match existing categories.

Examples: bikini, your bestie, 69

Can I use Stream Tags in my language?

You can create Stream Tags in any language. Your tags will appear exactly as you enter them and will not be translated, regardless of the platform language or viewers’ location.

Do I have to add Stream Tags?

No. Stream Tags are completely optional. You can start your stream without them.
