Mute or ban from your chat any user who’s spamming, harassing, or being offensive. You can also ban long-time lurkers.
You can ban users for 24 hours, 30 days, or forever.
How to ban or mute users?
Hover over the username, and a window with the options to mute and ban will appear. You can do it in public chat and by choosing a user from the users’ list on your broadcasting page.
There are several other ways to ban a user:
- By clicking on 3 vertical dots (⋮) near their name and choosing “Ban User”. This method is available in an open chat in “Messages”.
- By hovering over a user’s avatar in “Messages” in “All Chats” and in the opened chat.
- By clicking on the username on the “Earnings” page.
Choose a reason to ban the user from the list of reasons that will pop up.
All previous tips and comments from the banned user will be deleted from the chat.
How to unban or unmute users?
To unban or unmute a user, go to the “Banned & Muted Users” section in the menu under your avatar. Click on the “Edit” button. Check the boxes near the users to unban/unmute, and press “Remove”.
You can also unban users from the same sections of the platform described above.
It is up to you whether to ban a user or not. We advise you to only use this feature if it’s absolutely necessary. You never know who might become your new top spender.
